Born and raised in South Carolina, Lori S. Murray always knew that she wanted to be a lawyer. Upon completing her undergraduate education at the University of South Carolina, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Criminal Justice, Ms. Murray then earned a law degree and admission to the South Carolina bar in 1996.

Lori Murray began her legal career as a law clerk to a personal injury firm while in law school. After graduation, she served as a civil and criminal law clerk to the Honorable C. Victor Pyle. Prior to founding her own practice, Ms. Murray became a state prosecutor for the Richland County Solicitor's office in 2000, handling misdemeanors and felonies.
